This tool helps development practitioners screen key national development goals and associated priority sectors for risks from climate variability and change, as well as from geophysical disasters. The tool is intended to help mainstream climate and disaster-risk reduction into strategic planning for a country and assess the key ways in which the occurrence and intensity of hazards can affect sectors and policies at the national level.
