To help identify the needs, priorities and resource gaps for countries who intend to take to address climate change – both in terms of adaptation and mitigation as they turn these targets into action, the World Bank has developed a comprehensive resource on nationally determined contributions (NDCs) – the NDC Platform. Based on a comprehensive mapping exercise, the platform provides a full picture of the detailed targets, implementation plans, and, where available, self-reported cost estimates from countries that have submitted NDCs. The platform also includes quick facts about NDCs, interactive maps that allow for visualization of NDC commitments and the associated costs, and a detailed adaptation/ mitigation database.
