Adaptation in the agriculture sectors: leveraging co-benefits for mitigation and sustainable development

This policy brief takes climate change adaptation in agriculture (crops, livestock, forestry, fisheries and aquaculture) as its starting point to identify potential co-benefits. It assesses the broad and multi-directional interplay between climate action and sustainable development. It identifies the various pathways by which economic, social and environmental co-benefits can be generated from adaptation interventions in agriculture across sectors and at different scales.
