URL: http://www.fao.org/3/ca5081en/ca5081en.pdf

The document describes the findings from a qualitative and quantitative study that aimed to generate information about resources as well as symbolic, cultural, and economic barriers affecting adaptation in agricultural production from a gender perspective. The case study summarizes lessons learned both for planners in Uruguay’s agriculture sectors, as well as for decision-makers in other countries who are interested in better understanding and tracking gender dimensions of adaptation in agriculture.
