National Adaptation Plan for climate change impacts in Sri Lanka (2016–2025)
The National Adaptation Plan (NAP) formulated by Sri Lanka provides an overview of climate change impacts in the country, adaptation needs and options (for the identified key vulnerable sectors and cross-cutting) and highlights the key stakeholders involved. It draws out a plan, the implementation strategy, the resource mobilization mechanism, clarifies its contribution towards achieving the SDGs and presents the institutional and coordination mechanisms.
