Gender dynamics in the adoption of climate adaptation practices: A case study in the Cauca Department of Colombia
A detailed analysis linking gender roles and gender-based differences in land ownership to men and women's differential views of climate-smart agriculture (CSA) practices and their willingness to change activities. It also notes gender-based inequalities in access to information. Qualitative and quantitative methods used at field level in this study are relevant methods for identifying gender issues in the scoping and appraisal of adaptation options.
