This short report presents a summary of current scientific knowledge on the impacts of climate change on farming and food systems, and on the implications for adaptation and mitigation. It calls for a holistic and strategic approach to linking knowledge with action in answering the challenges faced by climate change as well as for a closer collaboration between researchers and decision-makers. It lays the ground for a thorough reflection on where to start in addressing climate change in the agriculture sectors.
