This paper highlights the potential to adapt to and mitigate climate change within the framework of the watershed management approach. It showcases good practices through some selected case studies (from Djibouti, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Uganda) and draws out key messages on the importance of integrating adaptation and mitigation into the watershed management approach.
