Global Methane Pledge (GMP)

The Global Methane Pledge (GMP) was introduced at COP26 by the European Union and the United States, with 158 countries joining by 2024. Participants in the Pledge commit to taking voluntary actions to support a collective effort to reduce global methane emissions by at least 30 percent from 2020 levels by 2030.
