URL: http://www.fao.org/3/I9542EN/i9542en.pdf

This report explores the complex linkages between agricultural trade, climate change and food security, and outlines diverse policy options for responding to these challenges. The report stresses that climate change will affect both agricultural productivity and international trade patterns, but that at the same time international trade in food will remain an important tool that countries can use to cope with negative impacts. It also includes an in-depth overview of the evolution of agricultural trade during the period 2000–2016 and the outlook for agricultural commodities moving forward.
