This document provides a detailed explanation and analysis of the FAO Disaster Risk Reduction (DRM) for Food and Nutrition Security Framework Programme. It provides strategic direction to the implementation of DRM measures across agricultural-related sectors in line with the Hyogo Framework for Action and its five priority areas. The intent is that this framework will help generate greater understanding, interest and action in DRM for food and nutrition security.
