The report aims to provide a comprehensive review and analysis of CH4 sources and sinks in agrifood systems, existing mitigation solutions and those that are at an experimental stage, and metrics used to quantify the impacts of CH4 emissions on climate. The report complements the previous FAO LEAP guidelines with detailed information needed to conduct mitigation scenario analysis, using the highest tier from the IPCC guidelines.
