The historic Koronivia Joint Work on Agriculture (KJWA) decision, adopted at COP23, recognizes the fundamental importance of agriculture in tackling climate change. On March 7, 2019, Maria Vincenza Chiracò, CMCC researcher at IAFES Division, held the webinar “Koronivia Joint Work on Agriculture: views from Parties and observers on topic 2(a)”, illustrating the FAO-CMCC summary of the submissions provided by Parties and observers to the UNFCCC on the paragraph 2 of the KJWA decision, an effort to identify a way forward for climate action in the agricultural sector.
