This publication provides an overview of the forestry sector in Pakistan, the main drivers of deforestation and the hotspots which require the Government’s immediate attention. It also identifies opportunities for future investment in the forestry sector to increase the prospects for climate change mitigation and improving livelihoods which will contribute to the proper understanding of the sector.
