This case study characterizes agricultural drought-prone areas in the Horn of Africa by overlapping socioeconomic variables such smaller or large farms, irrigation, population, production, etc.The identification of hotspots of drought stress is essential to pinpoint administrative areas in need of immediate intervention. The final results will assist decision-makers in designing adaptation and mitigation plans.
